Teconnex energy storage systems will be available during 2024. Our platforms are designed, tested and built in the UK and will form a portfolio of solutions. This includes both low voltage and high voltage appliances suitable for a range of environments.
Why do we need energy storage?
It is vital that the world transitions from our current global dependency of fossil fuel power sources if we are to protect our planet for future generations. In July 2023 the United Nations issued a stark warning that the negative effects of climate change is now moving beyond ‘global warming’ and into critical incidents of 'global boiling'.
Rapid change must be achieved to avert a climate catastrophe. Our range of Teconnex Energy Storage Systems can harness and capture electrical energy generated by renewable green technologies, such as solar arrays, wind turbines and tidal generation.
Benefits of a Teconnex Energy Storage System
Our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) can release stored electricity back into the national grid network or directly back into the buildings or locations where the ESS platforms has been installed. A Teconnex ESS can be suitable for a range of locations including residential, agricultural, construction, manufacturing, retail, offices, leisure, schools, hospitals, or indeed any location that may require electricity.
Teconnex’s ESS can perform the role of a low carbon electricity “reservoir”. Our platforms can deliver the stored electricity when it is needed and called for, rather than only when renewable energy is being produced (which may be different to the times of demand and energy need given the reliance on weather conditions).
